Meeting Program
Informal networking starts at 6:30. It's a great time to ask questions and meet members and other guests, and get registered.
We start at 7:00 PM with a devotional and a short writing exercise. Then we give praise reports (sharing successes and failures).
After a break for networking (when you can also refill your coffee and grab a snack), we introduce our main speaker. Speakers talk about the craft of writing, the journey of writing, or the business of writing all from a faith based viewpoint.
Past speakers have addressed fiction, marketing, movies, speaking, how to sell your work, getting an agent, and their own personal writing journey.
Meetings end at 9:00 PM.
Fees: Free for members. Visitors pay a $5 entrance fee, which you can apply to your yearly dues should you decide to join NCWA at that meeting.
